The opt-in disclosure read on support calls
Most customers opt in to texts during a support interaction. When you contact FieldLink about a service issue and provide your mobile number, an agent or the automated system asks whether you would like text updates and reads this exact disclosure before enrolling you:
"FieldLink can text repair instructions, diagrams, part numbers, and updates for your service request. This is optional and won't affect your service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See fieldlink.ai/privacy and fieldlink.ai/terms. Do you agree to receive these texts?"
You only receive texts if you affirmatively agree. Declining does not affect your ability to receive service.
What messages you'll receive
If you opt in, messages are tied to your active service request and may include repair instructions and procedures, diagrams and blueprints, part numbers, troubleshooting steps, links to how-to documents and videos, and status updates. We do not send marketing, promotional, or unrelated messages.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies and depends on the activity and status of your service request. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan.
How to opt out or get help
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message. After you reply STOP, we send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or email support@fieldlink.ai. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We protect your mobile information
